Moving In!

Yesterday marked the first day of your summer here in Chicago and we hope that you had an absolute blast and are looking forward to the rest of your time here even more than you thought you would!

Let's be honest, the University Center could not be more amazing! How jealous are your friends and family back home going to be when you show them these views?

I don't care how long anyone lives in this city, there is no way they can cease to be amazed by that! So what was it like when everyone started arriving? Check it out!

We ended out the day with everyone getting to know each other at the welcome dinner - the food was pretty incredible too, if I do say so myself!

That about wraps up this post; however, I wanted to end with this video that Jenna posted a little over a month ago but I literally find myself watching it ALL the time. I must say that each time I watch it, I fall in love with this city more and more - let's hope you will to!

Hey Dreamers! On behalf of Dream Careers and your staff here in Chicago, I want to officially welcome you all to one of the best cities in the world, this initial blog post, and what is for sure going to be one of the most memorable summers of your lives!

Throughout the summer, this blog portal is going to be the hub of everything that this program and city has to offer. Your staff will be posting everything from numerous events to check out, our calendar for the week, pictures and recaps of what's already happened through the program, and some of the best inspirational internship and life tips that you could possibly receive.

To begin, I wanted to make sure and introduce you to two links that should (and probably will) become some of your favorite sites online: http://www.groupon.com/ and http://www.livingsocial.com/. If you aren't already familiar with either of these two websites, basically they're free sites (you just have to sign up to receive their daily emails) that will set you up with tons of coupons for everything throughout the city - from restaurants to eat at to tours to take.
